Tal-Betal Puppet theatre was initially formed in 1973 by family members only, obsessed in exploring the potentiality of this great and ancient Art-form in contemporaneity. While exercising with the traditional forms (Gloves, Rod, Shadow and String), we ventured into the techniques that were necessary in expressing our thoughts in an artistic way. It too expanded its horizon from a purely family team to a universal one.

We are into exploring the Social and Educational areas through this Art apart from entertainment only. We believe, much can be achieved through Puppets and Allied Art-forms much more meaningfully than mere Entertainment. We have proved its potentiality in many ways till date.
